PERRY, Okla. — The Ditch Witch organization introduces the RT100, a ride-on tractor with a 100-hp (74.6-kW) Deutz® diesel engine that is Tier 4-compliant, meaning that it meets with the most up-to-date EPA emissions requirements and, therefore, needs no expensive, time-consuming after-treatment.
This is just one of the many features designed to maximize the productivity of the RT100, the newest member of the Ditch Witch RT series, the best-selling trencher family in the world.
The solid, powerful RT100 is engineered with heavy-duty components to keep the machine running strong throughout the long days common on underground construction jobsites, plus a comfortable, ergonomically designed operator’s station that helps the operator maintain productivity.
Standard four-wheel drive helps provide outstanding traction and mobility in all kinds of jobsite conditions and applications. Planetary axles with locking differentials make maximum use of torque at the wheel and offer high ground clearance.
The operator’s station offers a 90-degree swivel seat, adjustable armrests, a tiltable steering column, easy-to-read gauges, and a color LCD engine display that provides all engine information and diagnostics. An optional, climate-controlled cab is available to increase productivity in inclement weather.
Maintenance of the RT100 is simplified by removable side panels that provide easy access to service areas. Engine service points are conveniently located on the left side, and the oil level can be checked without opening the engine enclosure.
